Heyes Forest Products is the only sawmill that holds a statewide contract to provide FSC certified lumber to state agencies who are required to use state purchasing contracts. The contract gives purchasing agencies the option to purchase locally grown and sawn certified lumber instead of purchasing lumber from the big box building supply stores that hold the statewide building materials contracts. The contract can also be used by public schools, municipalities, county governments, and even some private universities who choose to take advantage of this state contract.
